Decision support modelling

Vision Run-off Royal Schiphol Group

Schiphol  Airport strives to minimize its impact on the environment including the  quality of the surrounding waterways. To develop this vision, we  cooperated with the Schiphol team to determine the best way forward for  treatment of run-off water. AirportCreators delivered project management  as well as content-related knowledge of operations,  the water system  and potential solutions. The result is a balanced vision suitable for  decision making.

Airport charges Luxembourg Airport

Since  2019, AirportCreators has been the strategic partner of choice for  Luxembourg Airport. We assist the board in developing, implementing and  successfully executing in the financial strategic planning cycle. this  cycle is subject to the unique dynamics of the airport industry and  bounded by specific regulation.

Airside Cargo Transport Optimization

In  collaboration with TU Delft, AirportCreators contributed to a research  project that developed a mathematical model to explore and evaluate  strategic approaches to airside cargo transportation.

Stand, gate and airside pax transport optimization

Within  the world of aviation, the constant rise in air transport demand has  resulted in continuously rising pressure on airports to provide  sufficient capacity at the right time. The rise in demand, in  combination with the fact that provision of infrastructure is hard to  synchronize with demand, operational planning is becoming more  challenging. The largest operational and logistical challenge therefore  is to optimally use assets and resources.

In  collaboration with the TU Delft, AirportCreators contributed to a research project that developed a mathematical model to integrally  allocate (remote) aircraft stands and gates within the terminal  building. Additionally, the model allocates a mode of transport, by bus  or by foot, including its defined path.
